Question:
Hello, I am thinking of using your system for an outlet shopping center project. Most of the signs will be mounted in covered areas, but some of them will need to be placed outside. In particular, I am thinking of using some of your freestanding towers for directories in between the shops. Has anyone used your signs this way?

Answer:
All of the components of Vista System are durable and can be used outdoors.
The aluminum parts are protected by an anodize or powder coat finish. The plastic parts are made from ABS and the steel parts are also treated and powder coated.

Vista System is designed as a frame system, so we leave the insert or substrate material for the artwork up to you. It's important that you choose signage materials that can withstand the elements at your location.

Important:
A common misconception among sign pros is to place a clear lens over the outdoor signage, in an effort to protect it from vandals. This is not a good idea! The effects of condensation, due to moisture and temperature changes, will obscure the sign. Try applying your graphics to the front of our clear lens material like the example in the photos.
