McDonalds - Jernbanestasjonen. Oslo, Norway.
The customer wanted a pylon that was special and matched their architectural style. The location was the old train station ( Jernbanestasjonen ) in Oslo, Norway. Here, the windows are very tall and with an arched top window . We wanted to use the design language of the arch in the pylon. Graphics that showed McDonald's products had to be shown on the pylon, this was a requirement. We found out that Vista had a product that we could, with a small modification, use for this project. The pylon and front covers were supplied from Vista and were delivered to Oslo within 2 weeks. This was very good. We attached transparent polycarbonate here in Oslo and installed the lighting. The "M" that is floating inside the pylon is made by Menden Buchstaben in Germany. We were very excited to see how this looked when everything was lit! As you can see, the end result was VERY good. The customer uses the pylon as an example of good signage to other McDonald's restaurants and is actually "selling" the product for us. We are looking forward to more orders of this kind...
