Vista System has been specified for internal and external signs for all the brand centers. The signs are both informational and directional. This particular dealership is in Polowkane, approximately 2 hours outside of Johannesburg, S.A.

What was the customer/designer looking for from a design standpoint?
Daimler Chrysler was looking for a curved signage system that would be practical with a clean design and would fit with the corporate image.

What were the cost considerations?
They were looking for a system that would save them money because the project would be national. The Vista System was more favorably priced than the other system considered.

What were the delivery considerations?
Daimler Chrysler required Vista System to be customized to fit with their design and the delivery was critical for the opening of the dealership.

What were the most important challenges you faced as a sign maker (cost, delivery time, design functionality…)?
There were not too many challenges, as we received the signs already assembled. We only needed to insert our graphics. The only challenge was that Vista System needed to be customized to fit with the clients design. By cutting holes in the top and bottom end caps, we could transform the signs to accommodate the 100mm diam eter posts that form part of the design.

Describe if and how MCFT played a part in the project.
Vista System was a perfect choice because of MCFT (Modular Curved Frame Technology) and the fact that it could be altered to the clients needs.
