Vista’s protruding signs, also called projecting or flag signs, are used primarily for the purpose of wayfinding and guidance, both indoors and outdoors, allowing designers to plan the way crowds will move through spaces in offices, public areas and shopping centers. These protruding signs are part of a modular system and can be used in addition to existing signage, or in answer to a new need.

The Welding Institute

TWI,a British research and technology organization specializing in welding, was in need of signage for its new branches that had been established around the world, all using the same design line. Their need for a sleek, precise and crisp modular signage system – something with a strong modern feel – led the institute to choose Vista. The quality of the design and installation were part of the requirements. In the Cambridge project, more than 300 different signs were supplied including an extensive selection of protruding signs. Protruding Sign Assembly and Installation

Following assembly, the protruding sign is easily anchored to the wall using screws – no need for special tools. Anyone with basic technical knowledge can install the sign, and in case of any difficulty, Vista has provided ample training videos, drawings and programs to assist.
