Vista System’s annual signage competition was launched a few months ago, attracting dozens of ambassador and signage companies from around the world to respond and provide images and stories about their projects. Everyone aimed for First Place, hoping to win the coveted award: Apple Watch Series 5 + a positive advertising.
First place was awarded to Supreme Heat and Colors from Nigeria, who provided beautiful photos of the OSHODI TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE project . The extensive public transportation station in Lagos, Nigeria, included a wide range of signage solutions. The contractor’s requirement was for a cohesive wayfinding system that will be integrated in several public buildings providing urban and national public transportation services. The station serves thousands of people on a daily basis.
Supreme Heat and Colors designed and printed the amazing graphics and installed Vista wayfinding signage solutions throughout the terminal. Waiting halls, shopping centers, service areas, VIP lounge , ticket booths, elevators, car parks and accessible areas, were all properly signposted, to allow maximum walkability and orientation.
During the construction of the terminal, the client had to deal with several challenges. The space required various signage solutions such as Wall Frames, Suspended signs, Pylons, etc. Eventually, the system of choice was the classic, curved, Vista System, providing the multitude of solution with the elegant design incorporated into the décor. Durability and function played a key role in choosing that system for the high traffic project.
Instead of looking around for partial solutions, Vista provided a 360° coverage for all needs. “Working with Merryl on the Oshodi Transport Interchange Project was very fulfilling.”
In second place, Vista selected Infinity Sign Company for the Hackensack Meridian Health project.
The medical center serves thousands of visitors and spans over various locations and buildings.
The client recently went through a rebranding process and wanted to refresh all wayfinding signs.
The new concept offered by Infinity Sign Company was enthusiastically accepted and the new design has been gradually implemented since 2018.
