Vista System International, a world leader in modular curved frame technology (MCFT), recently supplied its elegant Vista Light Pylon to “Milliken Industries”, for installation at 6 Higgo Residence – Cape Town – South Africa.
The architects of “6 Higgo” required an illuminated pylon with clean lines and a modern, elegant aesthetic that will provide a sense of presence deserving of this inspirational residence, without being intrusive. The Vista Light Pylon was chosen for its elegant basic colors of silver and black and for its strong, clean vertical lines, softened by the horizontal curves.
Once “Milliken Industries” had finalized the artwork, they received the pylon from Red Hand Sign Supplies (the Vista agency) and applied the reverse cut out black vinyl to the white opal insert sheet provided. Fluorescent lighting was installed using the internal horizontal struts as supports and the sign was delivered to site and bolted onto the concrete stub wall, over the pre-laid power cable, enabling the electrician to wire it up. The process was remarkably quick, and all involved have agreed that the end result is very pleasing.
Vista System International offers a new concept for the sign industry that was developed by sign professionals with the goal of filling a gap between fabricated sign and modular sign systems. MCFT (Modular Curved Frame Technology) offers the best of both worlds by offering the advantages of a modern modular system with the ability to provide a highly customizable solution that meets the unique requirements for each sign project. Vista System stocks the entire collection of components for this system for fast delivery from strategically located locations around the world.
